History, mythology and fiction intermingle to depict the story of Gusti Puteri, a princess from the Majapahit kingdom who leaves her homeland without consent in the hope of finding her true love, Hang Tuah, one of the Melaka Sultanate’s revered and spirited warriors. Although Hang Tuah confesses his love for her on Gunung Ledang, he will not forsake the Sultan of Melaka’s wishes to marry the princess. Angered by the situation in which she is trapped, Gusti Puteri agrees reluctantly to marry the Sultan on condition he can fulfill seven wishes. In a twist of fate, Gusti Puteri and Hang Tuah are destined to live on Gunung Ledang but does their love reunite?
